Motivation on a Monday!

Motivation is temporary, like bathing, that’s why we need it daily.

Each day we awake & have to leave bed to get on with the day. Usually, it’s to find something that keeps us engaged throughout the day – a kind of daily hustle. For some people, its business as usual while for other they just wish they didn’t have to get out of bed all day. What then is the difference between these two sets of people?

The answer is simple – motivation. It’s easy to get excited about anything, but it takes motivation to remain excited in your career, love life, academics or any such commitments. There is a need to be continually geared up so as to reach for greater heights.

So here is the thing, are you waking up each day enthusiastic about what the day has got to offer or are you waking up unhappy? Are you doing something repeatedly but getting the same results? Are you in a situation you really don’t want to be in but you just have to? Do you find yourself giving less when you can give more? Why not do something about it.

I like to motivate myself on a Monday because for me, it takes me throughout the week. You have to understand that the road to success is always under construction & there are little strides you take each day (which might seem insignificant) which builds up to the bigger picture. Set out goals & lots of em - daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, long-term goals! You need to have something you are working on at all time, write out your goals & go back to review them to know how well you are doing & measure up against where you need to improve.

Destiny can only be delayed; it can never be denied.

Things might not be as forthcoming as you expect or they might be taking longer than planned which could be very frustrating but don’t give in. These things take time, so don’t rush. Trust me, you’ll wake up each day having something to forward up to. You just might find a new meaning to life.

Stay safe, remain blessed & love more. Motivate yourself!
