7 WAYS TO BRING OUT THE ENTREPRENEUR IN YOU

No matter what your profession is, there is no feeling better than being your own boss.

While some people are comfortable working for others, it is inevitable that everybody wants to be their own boss. In any case, this article is for you.

Truly, nobody is born a businessman but there is an entrepreneur in all of us. We just need to unlock him. Now, here are the 7 true steps to follow:

• You need a business plan

Before you venture into any business, you need to have a plan. Remember, "he who fails to plan, plans to fail." You need to sketch down the dos and don'ts of your proposed business.

You need to have both your short term and your long term plans. How and where can you generate capital? How do you advertise? What product do you intend on selling? etc.

• Make decisions and take action

After coming up with a wonderful plan, it wouldn't just happen. You need to take it step by step. Every decision you make is going to influence how much profit or loss you make.

It's okay to make a few wrong decisions when starting out. Remember, you're on a learning process. It's best if you could also seek advise from those already in the business.

• Obliterate self doubts

Once you're ready to start, you don't need to listen to the other part of you telling you that you can't do this or you would fail. Just go for it!

• Master advantage-making methods and problem-solving techniques

While you are still young in the business, there would be a lot of competition and you still have a higher chance of not succeeding. So you need to be brainstorming.

Interact with your customers and get to know how they would like to be served better. Also think of new ways that would give you an edge, but do not be too obsessed with competition.

• Do only what you love and where your contributions have impact

Honestly, if you're into some business for the wrong reason, you would get bored easily & would probably not succeed.

Don't go into a business you do not understand, you would lose a lot of money. Stick with what you love and profit is guaranteed as well as a smile on your face at all time.

• Develop 'success' mindset

Think big. Business is all about bargaining. You want bigger deals with 'Very Important Personnels' and organisations. You want to expand your business. You want a lot of people working for you. You want branches in all the major cities. It is not impossible, you can achieve it.

• Advertise your work

Advertise through every media possible. Business cards, newspapers, social media. Don't believe everyone already knows what you're selling. Even if they do - remind them. Staying relevant is KEY.
