Did you know? It is actually pronounced Du-bei not Du-buy.Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates U.A.E, a country which gained independence from the United Kingdom on 2 December, 1971. Its name is said to mean ‘rich settlement’ in Arabic & is actually pronounced as DU-BAY, not DU-BUY.
Though the capital of U.A.E is Abu Dhabi but whenever we mention U.A.E, only one city comes to mind - Dubai. This is because Dubai is a very beautiful city.

Burj Khalifa
This building stands at 829.8m and is the tallest in the world. It was completed in 2010.
Bastakia ( Old Dubai )
The Bastakia quarters was built in the late 19th century to be the home of wealthy persian merchants who came to Dubai for trading.
Jumeirah Mosque
It is considered to be the most beautiful of Dubai's mosques. An exact copy of Cairo's Al-Azhar Mosque. It is an excellent example of Islamic architecture.
World Tallest Hotel ( Burj Al-Arab )
Not only is it the world's tallest hotel, but also it is the world's only 7-star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 hotel. It stands at 321m and is located in its own artificial island on the Dubai coastline. This hotel comes alive at night. Its beautiful lights makes it an awesome sight at night.
Sheik Zayed Road
This eight-lane highway is rimmed with towering skyscrapers along it. Many attractions can also be found along the road.
Dubai Aquarium
This aquarium houses 140 species of sea life in its huge tank on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall. If you enter the Underwater Zoo, you can walk through the aquarium tunnels.
Dubai Creek
The Dubai Creek separates the city into two 2 towns with Deira to the north and Bur Dubai to the south.
Dubai Mall
It is the city's premier mall. It provides entry to the Burj Khalifa as well as the Dubai Aquarium. There are also special events such as fashion shows and live music which holds within the mall.
Dubai Museum
It was built in 1787 to defend Dubai Creek. In its history it has served as the home for the ruling family, seat of government, garrison and prison. A wonderful place to check out.
