Is It Goodbye To Legal Money?
Everyone wants to be rich, everyone wants to be able to afford the good things of life. This is not a crime of course but it seems like hard work these days is not enough to make you super rich.
Are we witnessing an era where no one can get rich by trying to make your money legally?
The golden rule of making money is "You use money to make money." What then happens to those who have nothing to even start up? Is that why the rich get richer in the society, while the poor gets poorer?
In my city, it seems like the only way to get rich quickly is to indulge in some kind of illegal and immoral profession such as fraud, hacking, prostitution, drug trafficking etc?
The high rate of bribery and corruption in our society makes it difficult for an honest man to get a decent job and rise through the ranks. Those who choose to make their money the clean way end up working so hard with little to show for it.
But it's all about the mindset of my people. The thing is that for a lot of people, it's "get rich or die trying." They fail to realise that acquiring wealth should not be do-or-die. Well tell that to the ears that care to listen.
I understand that the lifestyle of the rich in such societies could be very tempting and enviable but what do you stand to gain making money by breaking the rules of the land?
Illegal money might pay a lot but doesn't it come at a price? A price that may just be too costly to pay. Why don't we work hard and keep doing what we do best while waiting patiently for God's time.
