POEM: The Day I Say I Do

"Its the evening before the day,
That we start our journey to forever as one.
Cause when we first met you said that you loved me."

THE DAY I SAY I DO

Its the evening before the day,
That we start our journey to forever as one.
I can only find myself awake,
Thinking of the vows to take.

Cause when we first met you said that you loved me
Just this morn'n, you said the same
And when I ask, "how long will you love me?"
You say "till forever ends"

"For better, for worse; 
For richer, for poorer..
Through sickness, in health;
Till death do us part"

I'm lost in ecstasy,
Momma is much happier than me,
Family can't wait for us to tie the knot,
And friends... they all have their gifts bound.

You asked, "Will you always love me?"
I said, "I will"
You asked, "Will you marry me?"
I said, "I will"

You asked, "Will you be the mother of my children?"
I said, "I will"
And tomorrow is the day...
The day I say "I do"
