Remember That Love is an Act of Reconciliation
Hello peeps!
I welcome you all to this Sunday of February, and what can I say other than Thank God its Sunday! There are Sundays after going to church I come back & try to blog about the Gospel.
In case you don't know, my theme for the month of February is Love & Reconciliation. So don't be surprised if you find me talking bout it a lot in subsequent post. Love is the best thing in life. God is love & the ability to love is divine.
Today I want to talk about another aspect of love which is reconciliation. Everybody gets hurt sometimes, sometimes we hurt others ourselves. And while having enemies is a necessary evil, there is nothing more glorious than forgiveness. God forgives us so why shouldn't we forgive others?
To forgive really is the attribute of the strong. By forgiving we leave ourselves to God to mend our broken hearts. So is there any grudge u bear against any one today?
You have sworn by your ancestors to never forgive. Or have you in any way hurt a friend or whoever. Just know that reconciling is an act of love & love is the best thing in life.
So that being said I leave you with the quote of the day:
Love heals the wounds of enemity.
