Who I Am?

I have being doing some soul searching recently which I think is absolutely normal, especially considering that I just got a year older some days back. And the major question I have been asking myself has been WHO AM I?

You would discover that it is a very wide world & wild also. But we could narrow it down if we all knew the roles we had to play in it & play them well.

For me it is that sense of belonging; that search for a purpose, for a meaning that defines life.

This had got me thinking for over a fortnight, now I'm sure glad I gave it a thought for I have no doubts whatsoever as to who I am & why I exist now.

Let's come to think of it, how many million billion people in the world today but you still had to come. You might think you just came to make up the numbers. I think I'm here for a reason.

No one can do it all alone. True. We are all here for each other. When we play our parts well, mankind can go on to reach unbelievable heights.

My talents, temperament, personality, environment did not happen to me by chance. I am black, I am a man, I have a future. All these I never chose, they happened to me for a reason.

It is left for me to define my purpose & channel my ambitions into that future.

By harnessing my abilities, I know I would be able to help my people, improve my environment, inspire my peers & leave a legacy for generations to come. I should drop the pen ✒ at this point really.
