POEM: Stoned Heart

"Heart turned to stone
Love seemingly cold as snow
The rains seize to fall when told"

STONED HEART

Heart... turned to stone
Tears freezed impeccably within the soul
The situation that bent the crayfish
Is the same that took the smile off a gay man's face

Heart...  turned to stone
Love seemingly cold as snow
The heaviness that kept the ostrich from flight
Is the same that imprisons a gay man's spirit

Heart...  turned to stone
The rains seize to fall when told
The shell that hardens the tortoise on the outside
Is the same that hardens a gay man's inside
