Counting my Answered Prayers

Life has a funny way of making everything happen at once; or having nothing happen at all.

So last week it was a little quiet from me. Not because I had nothing to blog about, obviously there is always something to talk about, but because I was having a blast of a week. Everything happening at the same time. Let's say, a week that was better than I could have ever planned.

And I woke up this morning like hey I can't keep calm cause it's my birthday! April is always a special month for me cause every April I get extra blessings from the Most High.

So today for inspiration I want to talk a little about unanswered prayers. Actually there is no such thing as an unanswered prayer cause God either says yes or wait.

But in a situation where we ask God for something, everyone is guilty of this including me. And I'm really going to make a case for us humans cause there is always something to petition God for. There is no absolute victory, you already know by now that every finish line is the beginning of a new race.

So we ask God for a favour which we humbly expect that God would in his goodness grant our request but then things don't go according to our plan. Not wanting to know God's plan, we grow impatient.

Today I just want to take out a few seconds & think about that good things in my life that came to me & I can't even remember praying to God for it. I want to count them.

Yes, it could be the oxygen I breathe which someone somewhere on earth is paying for right now. Or maybe it's the beautiful family I got. Hey, what of the food I ate today, can you believe someone somewhere is dying of hunger. Yes, how many times have I recovered from an illness that has claimed another's life. Keep counting bro, how many have you got? Em, A Lot!

While you're bothered counting your unanswered prayers. I count my answered prayers & it makes me understand that whenever I pray, God listens.
