Thank God Its Easter Monday!

Good morning to you all!
If you're anywhere around planet earth then you should know that today is the Monday after Easter or better still EASTER MONDAY!!!

I'm only making this announcement because I know there are some people in outer space who had probably lost track of time by now. While those who have been sent from the future to celebrate this day with us haven't arrived yet. So if you're E-reading this, hope you're enjoying the holidays.

So its a new week which is a good thing. I have kinda been offline for awhile, you know, me just doing me thing so I have a lot of catching up to do. It's already the 22nd day of April & considering this is one of the other four months that has only 30days, I gotta say that it's gone down pretty fast tho. So let's get down to it y'all.

• Game of Thrones is back with a bang!

Literally a bang!! It's been trending all month & I think it's been the most talked about topic on social media. I see a lot of people who haven't seen an episode trying to wrap their head around what all the fuzz is about... Well I really can't blame them, they've been living under a stone for the past eight years. This is the eighth & final season & we've had to wait two whole years just for it. I really wish I could give you spoilers but then again I'll only ruin it for you but you can catch some reviews of the two episodes that has aired thus far on some fanatics blog scattered all over the web.

• The UEFA Champions League also didn't disappoint. 

Though I was rooting for Juventus & Manchester City but they both got knocked out. The Europa league kinda made up for me as the club I support Arsenal FC got through even when many didn't give them a chance & they did it in style. The quarter finals I gotta admit was more than any football fan could ever bargain for. The drama in the Man City vs Tottenham game was just unbelievable that you would wonder if it was a scripted Hollywood blockbuster.

This is just why we love football. We really can't wait for the semis. I think somewhere in there there's a permutation where the two English clubs in both tournaments meet in the final. That would really be one to look forward to even though it looks more likely in the Europa than in the Champions League because there's still a Barcelona somewhere in the mix & we all know Ajax have still got some more tricks up their sleeves.

• Arise Fashion Week went down in Lagos over the weekend. 

Designers, models & everyone who is someone involved in the fashion industry in Africa were present. I'll be posting an article on how it all went down shortly after this post & I wish I could release some photos but I really don't wanna get into some copyright issues but I assure you that you could find photos of the magnificent designs & beautiful models that walked the runway. This really makes me proud because the fashion industry in Africa has really come a long way & it's safe to say now it's come off age. But you could check out my instagram I'd be sure to upload a couple of pictures & don't forget to follow the boy.
