POEM: Advice for Wives

"Don’t find your worth in a man
Find it instead in thyself
Dry his tears whenever he cries
Make him feel your absence when you
are not around"

ADVICE FOR WIVES

Wake up early & cook his meals
Make him happy as long as he lives
Stroke his head & please him in bed
Give him children & he’s yours in debt

Don’t find your worth in a man
Find it instead in thyself
Keep it real & true
And you’ve found a man who is worthy
of you

You don’t belong to the kitchen or his
bedroom
You’re his other half, can’t he see?
Dry his tears whenever he cries
Make him feel your absence when you
are not around

Pick him over your best of friends
Even family – marriage comes first
Stay sexy just for him
So he can show you off & buy you
expensive things

Pray with him & play with him
Remember he’s not perfect; reduce the
way you judge him
And when he’s pissed, it is time to be
silent
Nothing angers more than a wife that
nags on
