POEM: Ever Imagined a World Without Gravity?

"What if cowards were brave & lions were tame
Would he visit the lions’ den?
Would he make a pet of a lion?"

EVER IMAGINED A WORLD WITHOUT GRAVITY?

Where do we go when we die?
Heaven or hell?
Or nowhere in particularLike, we vanish or cease to exist
Ever imagined a world without gravity?
Gravity, that force that keeps you down
And when you try to go up, it pulls you
back down

Ever imagined a world without that force?
What if cowards were brave & lions were tame
Would the coward still put his hands within
the lion’s jaws?
Would he visit the lions’ den?
Would he make a pet of a lion?

If you asked me (an honest man indeed)
I would say that I’d rather be put
In a closed compartment with a little bed
(what you might call a cell)
To live out eternity as an artist & poet
Drawing by day; writing by dark

That would be my heaven
That would be my hell
That would be my world without gravity
That would be the coward me
Putting my hands within the lion’s jaws
