Escaping The Rat Race III

Your talents is key. Do what you love and you wouldn't have a problem getting paid to do what you do.

And NO I'm not talking about sitting at home & playing video games all day! Except ofcourse you get paid to do that. But if by any chance you seem to do a quick research into the background story of many rich men & women today you would find a pattern emerge.

Bill Gates is a software developer & computer Geek, Warren Buffet knows nothing about technology but he's into the stock market & buying & investing in shares while Floyd Mayweather knows nothing about the stock market but is an undisputed boxing champion remaining undefeated till he retired.

Have you ever thought about what would have happened had Michael Jackson become a boxer, or Tupac - a doctor or had Steve Jobs become a guitarist for a rock band?? Yeah that might sound real funny except you would probably not know their names today cause they did something outside of their talents. And if your guess is as good as mine they would have sucked at it or be mediocre at best.

A lot of people want to make millions but are yet to find their purpose. A talent is simply that gift you have, that ability that makes you do what over a billion other people in the world cannot do. If you are smart enough, you would be able to figure out a way to make people want to pay you for what you know how to do best.

If you are really looking to make good money then you should be asking yourself the right questions. What are my talents? How can I use these talents to create value, to make a difference? How can I convert this ability to bring in income? You develop a plan, you have a dream you carry with you at the back of your mind. You get into action, you source for funds, you assemble a team. You start small.

Many people have ventured into business & many have failed just because they were doing it for the wrong reasons. It's hard to motivate yourself when you are doing something you have no passion for.

Every entrepreneur knows the importance of this lesson & that is why they would never employ anyone who don't have the right talents, skills or passion for the project. You want to make money, think about doing what you love. Cheers.
