God Still Speaks

Gen 1:3- And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

Hello Good Morning & Welcome to the month of July!!!

I do get excited every first day of each new month. Today I'm double excited and I'm gonna tell you why. If you divide the year into two halves, then you'll see that July marks the second half of a calendar year.

Given how well & exciting the first half of the year has been, I'm pretty optimistic about what the second half of the year has to offer as we countdown to the year's end. There's still a lot to be achieved this year & that's why today I'm gonna go a little spiritual.

I believe in God, I hope you do too? Because God's favour upon our lives is always always abundant. If not for anything, everything shall pass away, you & I shall pass away but God's word endures forever.

His word set the world in motion, His word brought the whole of creation into existence. His word is truth, God's word is life to those who believe in the Power of His words.

This morning, I want to say a little prayer & it goes thus:

Dear God,
Speak Thy word into our lives that all may be well with us,
Welcome our supplications into Thy Presence,
Never cast away Thy face from us due to our transgressions;
But please in Thy mercy hear & answer when we call. Amen.
